This project consists of slab on grade construction, steel erection, metal stud framing, TPO membrane roofing compound, and synthetic stucco exterior. The interior of the facility was completed with level five drywall finishes, ceramic wood plank flooring, acoustic ceiling tile, solar hot water system, and VAV HVAC equpment. The dining facility areas include kitchen (food preparation and support space including the kitchen proper), dedicated flight kitchen area, a dishwashing room, utensil wash, refrigerated holding area for perishable food during processing, and locker area. The building also includes an office training room, storage room, serving dining room, and mechanical room. Additionally, the project complies with DoD Antiterrorism/Force Protection (ATFP) requirements.
The project was designed and constructed to LEED® SILVER requirements.
