Construction of the Consolidated Gulf Range Operations Center (GROC) Facility and the Consolidated Telemetry Range Operations Center (TROC) Facility consists of 15,000 SF of multi-building construction to house test support personnel and equipment. Both facilities are single-story buildings sharing an entrance drive and parking areas. Construction of both facilities consisted of concrete foundations, steel reinforced concrete superstructures, pre-engineered metal building framing, metal studs, split-face CMU wainscotting, exterior metal wall panels, and pre-finished standing seam metal roofing.  The buildings contain combined areas for general storage, mechanical, electrical equipment and communications. The project included intrusion detection systems (IDS) and connection to the base-wide energy monitoring / (EMCS) / building information systems, communication systems and wiring including inside plant and outside plant systems. Supporting facilities included all utilities services, site lighting, fire protection, alarm systems and UL certified lightning protection. The project also had infrastructure requirements including steel perimeter fencing, roadways, site utilities including electrical lighting, water, sewer, gas and storm drainage. Additional site features include a new asphalt parking lot, hardscape construction, and exterior concrete drives, hardstand and sidewalks.
